Baxter's American

Baxter's is a newer downtown restaurant that has received great reviews from the media and from guests.
The food is straight forward American cuisine with a twist. Chef Joe Davis creates comfort food with a passion and with fun in mind. The ambiance is as fun as the food. Prices are never over $25 for entrees and the appetizers and small plates menu lets you dine on great food for much, much less than that. Try the "Not your mother's Meatloaf" or the "Halibut with a bad hair day" (filo dough encrusted). Or for small plates I suggest the all beef sliders (bite size burgers) or the meatballs with mango salsa.
They have the new trendy wine list which features one price fits all by the glass or the bottle featuring American wines plus an extensive premium list upon request. The staff is laid back but attentive and not overbearing!
