Here is a fabulous brand new ice cream, smoothie and coffee spot in Peoria Heights: Emack and Bolio's! The headquarter company is in Boston, and the Peoria Heights location is a franchise owned by Jim Maxwell and Tim Hennessey.

The store is known for the highest quality ice cream available on the planet with a variety of flavors and seasonal favorites that change during the course of the year.

The store is right on Prospect Road at 4534 N Prospect so they are right in the thick of things in Downtown Peoria Heights, a growing and influential restaurant and food arena in the Peoria area.

I had their coffee while I was there and plan on trying their espresso flavored ice creams on my next visit.

Fantastic!

Fun atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and the best ice cream around! I consider myself a semi-ice cream expert and Emack and Bolios is by far the best ice cream I have tasted. I literally dream about it sometimes!

best ice cream

i thought ice cream was ice cream until i stopped by emack & bolio's on prospect in peoria heights. i was greeted by both owners and offered to try samples of any flavor on the board. it was hard to choose with so many flavors, but i finally decided on 2. they were all good, but 2 was my limit. thank goodness for take-home pints.

Best ice cream in Peoria

I've been there several times since it's opened and it's the best ice cream in Peoria, plus lots of cool rock 'n' roll memorabilia on the walls. Check it out.
