Gus's Bar and Grill

It's not that hard to think back and remember Out of Bounds in its glory days. One of the best neighborhood bars the Richmond area had seen. The new occupants hope to bring that life back to the restaurant. Recently re-opened, and now called Gus's Bar and Grille, it still has those great Out of Bounds wings that everyone craved.
As for the rest of the menu, similarities stop there. With an updated and cleaner more modern renovation, the new owners have paired that with a slightly Greek menu in the hopes of winning back those who loved the corner sports bar.
Located at 2701 W. Broad St, across the street from the Science Museum, Gus's is the perfect location for a quick bite after work, a day out with the family, a local spot to stop in and catch a game (soccer is one almost every day for you Footballers) or just sit and have a beer and good company.
The Flaming Saganaki, I hear, is amazing. Definitely eye catching as it's brought from the kitchen and pridefully escorted to your table.
The Greek Salad, amazing. The sandwiches, definitely pub fare, but pub fare done right and with a greek twist. They have a Lamb Burger that looked, smelled and tasted unbelievable.
Perfectly cooked, served with feta and tzatziki sauce. It's definitely worth a try.
There is something there for everyone, vegetarian as well.
While the interior is lacking the final touches that cement the feel, the core of this restaurant will definitely make it a winner among Richmonders. It should, the new owners are part of the same family that has brought you Kitchen 64, Sidewalk Cafe and Gibsons Grille.
