Père François absinthe is hand-made in a distillery that dates back to the 1800s. Each individually numbered bottle is produced in accordance with an authentic recipe and displays the typical characteristics of Val-de-Travers absinthe. Père François distills its absinthe in accordance with time-honored tradition. We select only the best natural ingredients, which include wormwood (artemisia absinthium) and other aromatic herbs. Well-balanced and harmonious, Père François absinthe is appreciated by the local public and was awarded the gold medal at the Swiss Concours des eaux-de-vie nobles in 2006.

La Valote “Authentic Premium Absinthe”

The love of a product, the history and the region; that’s the secret of la Valote, an absinthe traditionally distilled in Môtiers, Val-de-Travers, Switzerland, by Willy Bovet and Francis Martin. All operations linked to the production of this traditional absinthe contain numerous secrets and knowledge; principally regarding the choice and the quality of the plants, the drying, and the old tradition of distillation. Today that addition of knowledge and competence allows us to obtain a high quality of authentic Swiss absinthe. La Valote is made up of 10 aromatics plants which are all medicinal, include; greater wormwood, lesser wormwood, lemon balm, hyssop and mint are all grown by the 2 distillers.
